Audio for VATSIM (AFV) is a modern, high-fidelity voice communication system for the VATSIM. It provides a realistic, low-latency, VoIP-based codec that simulates VHF/HF radio characteristics, including signal degradation based on aircraft altitude, position, and distance from transmitters.
